photos: black and white [film, kodak tri-x 400, with the mamiya]
i got a new scanner that's capable of scanning film negatives and i've managed to scan the film i developed myself in the black and white photography class.
overall, i'm happy with the quality of the scanner. it's good enough for sharing online. and if i do come across a photo that i want prints of, i can get that professionally done.
having the option of scanning the negatives myself helps me save money in the long run. which means more money to buy film and keep shooting. ;)
both these were taken with the mamiya c330. it's a beast of a camera. so super heavy. there's a bit of camera movement in each of these [most apparent in the second] because i could barely hold the camera steady. perhaps i just need more practice, but i'm also wondering if i may need a tripod to shoot with it.
still so much to learn.
excited.
